Ksau’s Motors First Contribution as a Toyota Dealer

On Wednesday, Ksau’s Motors took on their first task as an official Toyota dealership in Palau. With the upcoming Oceans Conference, the government officials have been concerned with providing adequate security to support their guests, while also ensuring that regular public safety operations are uninterrupted. Upon hearing these concerns, the previous Oceans Conference Host, Indonesia, offered to support Palau by donating ten 2022 Vios and four 2022 Fortuners to be used by the Police and Bureau of Public Safety under the Ministry of Justice.

After months of planning, officials from both countries met on December 8, 2021 for the Handover Ceremony. With Palauan hospitality, the government welcomed a handful of Indonesian representatives in person, and many more via Zoom.

Also in attendance were  representatives from the Police Department and Ksau’s Motors. As the only Toyota dealership on this island, Ksau’s motors was asked to complete a Pre-delivery inspection and will be responsible, on behalf of Toyota Indonesia, for after sales services on these vehicles for the next five years.

Upon completion of the Handover Ceremony, the group made their way outside to bless the vehicles in the traditional Indonesian way. Water and flowers were poured over the hood of the vehicles as a blessing was recited. While the distinguished officials took pictures together and guests admired the vehicles, representatives of Ksau’s Motors enjoyed showing Police officers underneath the hoods of these new vehicles.

Ksau’s Motors is excited and grateful to begin their Toyota Dealership obligations in such a unique and honorable way. They look forward to continuing to service these and other Toyota vehicles as a dealership.
